Child Caregiver / Transportation – Goleta, CA

A family in Goleta, CA 93117 is seeking a warm, reliable part-time caregiver to provide consistent midday transportation and optional childcare support for their 3-year-old daughter during the 2026–2027 school year. The family is open to candidates available 3–5 days per week. This role is ideal for a trusted childcare provider, nanny, or retired educator looking for a predictable daily task with potential for extra hours.

Schedule Options:

• Preferred Schedule: Monday–Friday, Midday (~11:30 AM – 12:15 PM)
• Flexible Days: Open to strong candidates available 3 to 4 days per week (family can cover remaining days)
• Note on Thursdays: Midday pickup timing varies slightly (~11:00 AM); family can cover this shift, but flexibility from the candidate is a plus!

Start Date: August 19, 2026 – Early June 2027

Family Specifications:

• Smoke-free home
• Family will provide and assist with car seat installation

Responsibilities:

• Pick up 3-year-old from preschool in Goleta around 11:30–11:45 AM
• Safely drive to nearby children's center by approximately 12:00 PM (~15-minute drive time)
• Provide a calm, familiar, and friendly transition during the commute
• Optional Additional Opportunities: Occasional evening/weekend babysitting, as well as morning support (such as lunch prep for three children, ages 11, 9, and 3) 

Requirements:

• Warm, dependable, and experienced with young children
• Reliable personal vehicle, valid driver's license, clean driving record, and current auto insurance
• California Trustline Registration: Prior Trustline registration (or equivalent vetting) is strongly preferred and prioritized due to the upcoming start date
• Process includes an initial conversation, meet-and-greet, and a paid trial week

Compensation:

• $23-$25 hourly (1.5-hour daily minimum)
