A welcoming family in Austin, TX (78726) is seeking a passionate, reliable, and deeply engaged part-time nanny to care for their 8-month-old baby boy on a long-term basis. This position starts as soon as possible and focuses on maintaining a structured daily routine, supporting developmental milestones, and providing attentive in-home care. This family has a vaccination policy in place, which will be discussed directly with the candidate.

 

Schedule:

• Tuesdays and Fridays
• 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (16 hours per week)

 

Family Specifications:

• Smoke-free home
• Pet free home
• In-home care only (no driving or child transportation required)
• Strict adherence to a "no-screen" policy during care hours
• Open to candidates of all cultural backgrounds (English or Spanish speaking welcome)

 

Responsibilities:

• Establish and maintain a consistent daily routine for nap times, feedings, and play schedules
• Lead age-appropriate developmental activities and outdoor walks focused on infant milestones
• Clean, sterilize, and prepare bottles and milk accessories
• Keep play areas and baby toys sanitized and organized
• Manage child-related laundry

 

Requirements:

• Proven professional infant care experience with a strong understanding of early developmental milestones
• Active CPR certification
• Proactive, encouraging, and enthusiastic about early childhood development

 

Compensation:

• $24-$25 per hour
