A loving family in Rye Brook, NY 10573 is seeking an active, reliable, and flexible afterschool nanny for their two daughters (ages 8 and 10). The ideal candidate is a safe driver who enjoys supporting busy school and extracurricular schedules while providing a warm home environment.

 

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM
• 15 hours per week minimum (guaranteed)
• Occasional flexibility needed based on parents' work schedules

 

Family Specifications:

• Household includes two active school-aged children (ages 8 and 10)
• Family values reliability, clear communication, and safe driving
• Active home environment centered around school, sports, and extracurriculars

 

Responsibilities:

• Pick up both children from school in Rye Brook at 3:00 PM
• Transport children to local sports practices (softball, basketball, soccer) and tutoring sessions in White Plains, Elmsford, and Irvington, NY
• Provide care at home for whichever child does not have practice during scheduled times
• Ensure children transition safely between activities, school, and home

 

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license, reliable personal vehicle, clean driving record, and current auto insurance
• Proven experience caring for school-aged children
• Strong time-management skills and familiarity with local local driving routes (Rye Brook, White Plains, Elmsford, Irvington)
• Flexibility to stay slightly later than 6:00 PM when requested due to parent work schedules

 

Compensation:

• $23.00 – $25.00 per hour
• Minimum 15 hours per week guaranteed
