A welcoming, pet-free family in Staten Island, NY is seeking a reliable and engaging part-time nanny to care for their active 4-year-old child during afternoon hours. This is a long-term position starting as soon as possible, ideal for a caregiver who values early childhood engagement.

 

Schedule:

  • Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM
  • 6 hours per week

Family Specifications:

  • Pet-free home environment.
  • Seeking a consistent, long-term caregiver to assist with afternoon care.
  • Family strongly values language exposure and structured play.
  •  

Responsibilities:

  • Provide safe, attentive, and nurturing care for a 4-year-old child during afternoon hours.
  • Guide child-focused, age-appropriate play and developmental activities.
  • Handle child-related duties only during care hours.
  •  

Requirements:

  • Previous nanny or professional childcare experience.
  • Must possess legal authorization to work in the United States and pass a background check.
  •  

Preferred:

  • Bilingual abilities (English plus a second language; German language proficiency is a plus).
  • Teaching or early childhood education experience.
  •  

Compensation:

  • $18.00 – $20.00 per hour
