About the Role
- A welcoming family based in Dublin (A96) is seeking an energetic, vibrant, and reliable in-home caregiver to look after their two young children (aged 5 ½ years and 14 months) on weekends.
- This is a regular, ongoing part-time role. Weekday childcare is fully covered, so we are strictly seeking support for weekend coverage.
Key Details & Schedule
- Hours: 4 to 5 hours per weekend (preferred shift: 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM).
- Days: Regular commitment on either Saturday or Sunday.
- Location: In-home care in Dún Laoghaire
Key Responsibilities
- Provide engaging, safe, and attentive care for both children simultaneously.
- Organise age-appropriate play, outdoor activities, and creative tasks.
- Prepare light meals and snacks for the children during the shift.
- Maintain a safe and nurturing environment at home.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: Proven experience managing multiple children at once, specifically an infant and a young child under 6.
- Personality: Energetic, proactive, warm, and engaging (open to both male and female candidates).
- Languages: Fluent English required. Fluent Hebrew is a strong preference, though not mandatory.
- References: Verifiable childcare references and relevant background checks.
