Part Time Caregiver – Monmouth Junction, NJ
A client in Monmouth Junction, NJ 08852 is seeking a reliable, compassionate, and attentive caregiver to assist a 63-year-old male living with Parkinson’s disease. Primary priorities include fall prevention, steady physical support, safety, and maintaining a consistent daily routine.
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Approximately 35 hours per week
- Start Date: As soon as possible
Responsibilities:
- Provide light mobility support and standby transfer assistance to prevent falls throughout the day
- Administer timely medication reminders
- Assist with personal hygiene, grooming, and bathing as needed
- Drive recipient to local medical appointments using caregiver's personal vehicle
- Engage in friendly conversation and offer light daily routine assistance
Requirements:
- Physical ability to assist with steadying and transfers
- Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle
- Attentive, patient, and safety-focused demeanor
- Previous experience caring for individuals with Parkinson’s disease, mobility limitations, or fall risks strongly preferred
Compensation:
- $20.00–$25.00 per hour (commensurate with experience)
