Full Time Nanny – Santa Clara, CA

A welcoming family in Santa Clara, CA 95054 is seeking a reliable, engaging full-time nanny to care for their two young children (ages 2 and 5). This is a great position for candidates with strong instincts, adaptability, and the ability to anticipate needs and provide proactive, individualized care. This family has a vaccination policy, which will be discussed directly with the candidate. 

Schedule:

• Monday – Friday: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM (30 hours per week)
• Start and end times are flexible

Family Specifications:

• Smoke-free home
• Pet free home (possibility of dog in the future)
• Values an active, engaging environment supporting interests in cooking, crafts, games, gardening, and reading
• Parents work from home occasionally

Responsibilities:

• Provide attentive daily care including personal care (bathing, dressing) and assistance with diaper changing and potty training
• Assist with homework, creative play, and educational activities
• Plan and prepare meals and snacks for the children, feeding as needed
• Transport children to activities, playdates, and outings outside the home using candidate's own vehicle
• Perform light housekeeping and children’s laundry related to daily care

Requirements:

• Safe driver with a reliable personal vehicle to get to and from work, clean driving record, and valid driver’s license
• Proven experience in toddler and young child care, including diapering, potty training support, and early childhood engagement
• CPR/First-aid Certified

Preferred:

• Interest or skills in creative crafts, cooking, gardening, and educational play
• Bilingual skills
• Knowledge of Childhood Development

Compensation:

• $25-$30 per hour, depending on experience
