Part Time Nanny – Dix Hills, NY

A family in Dix Hills, NY 11746 is looking for an engaging and patient part-time nanny to care for their 9-month-old daughter. This is a smoke-free home with two friendly cats.

Schedule:

  • Tuesday: 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM
  • Thursday: 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM
  • Friday: 12:30 PM – 3:30 PM
  • Total hours: ~9 hours per week (Start date target: ASAP)

Family Specifications:

  • Welcoming home environment with two indoor cats
  • Smoke-free home
  • Looking for a caregiver who is warm, energetic, and easygoing to build a positive relationship with their infant

Responsibilities:

  • Primary caregiving for an infant (feeding, changing diapers, bathing, and dressing as needed)
  • Planning age-appropriate educational and developmental activities
  • Preparing infant meals and snacks
  • Light housekeeping and children’s laundry
  • Optional: Taking the child on stroller walks in the neighborhood (TBD based on mutual comfort level)

Requirements:

  • Proven experience caring for infants (around 9 months of age)
  • Energetic, patient, and engaging caregiving approach
  • CPR/First Aid certification preferred

Compensation:

  • $20.00 – $28.00 per hour
