Temporary Full Time  Nanny -  Palo Alto, CA

 

A family in Palo Alto, CA 94303  is seeking an experienced and compassionate Nanny for their baby boy. This Nanny position is temporary.

Schedule:

• Start date: November 9 through December 22 (excluding Thanksgiving Day and Black Friday)
• Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Some flexibility on start/end dates and daily hours

Family Specifications:

• Supportive and aware of Montessori early-learning principles
• Smoke Free home
• Pet free home

Responsibilities:

• Provide age-appropriate care and engagement for a 6- to 7-month-old infant
• Follow established feeding and sleeping routines
• Engage in age-appropriate play, developmental activities, and reading
• Perform light "mother's helper" duties during naptime (e.g., light cleaning, organizing, light cooking)
• Transport child to local parks and museums, as needed

Requirements:

• Demonstrable experience providing infant care
• Familiarity with and support of Montessori early childhood principles
• Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle

Preferred:

• Mandarin language skills (ability to read Chinese books to the child)
• "Mother's helper" duties (e.g. cleaning, organizing) while child is napping
• Are comfortable occasionally driving Andy to the local parks and museums
• First Aid/CPR certifications

Compensation:

• $40 - $42 per hour
