Full-Time Nanny – Columbia, MD 

A family in Columbia, MD 21045 is seeking an experienced, warm, and dependable nanny for their two children (a 4-year-old and an 18-month-old toddler). The 4-year-old attends school during the week from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, so daytime care will focus primarily on the toddler, followed by after-school care, engaging activities, and homework assistance when the older child returns home.

Schedule:

• Monday – Friday from 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Full-time position (45 hours per week)

Family Specifications:

• Smoke-free home
• Pet-free home

Responsibilities:

• Provide attentive and engaging care for both children (18-month-old toddler and 4-year-old)
• Plan and lead engaging activities at home, including reading, creative play, and educational games
• Assist the 4-year-old with learning activities and basic homework support after school
• Prepare healthy meals and snacks tailored specifically for the children, along with feeding and clean-up
• Manage daily toddler routines, including diaper changes, nap schedules, and bathing as needed
• Perform light housekeeping related to child care (children's laundry, washing dishes/bottles, and tidying play areas)

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in childcare or early childhood education
• Fluent English speaker

Preferred:

• First Aid certified
• Child CPR certified

Compensation:

• $18-$22 per hour
