Full Time Nanny (French Speaking) – San Francisco, CA

A welcoming family in San Francisco, CA 94103 is seeking a French-speaking nanny to care for their 18-month-old son starting January 4th. This position runs through the end of August, expanding during the summer months to include care for his 4-year-old sister before he transitions to a bilingual French preschool in the fall.

Schedule

• Start Date: January 4
• Term: January through end of August
• Full-time (~38–45 hours/week, M–F) Standard daytime hours with flexibility on exact start/end times.

Family Specifications

• Family values French language immersion in the home
• Care environment focused on supporting child development ahead of preschool entry
• The family is in the Mission Dolores neighborhood and has parking available.

Responsibilities

• Speak French with the children throughout the day to foster language immersion
• Lead developmentally appropriate play, educational activities, and local outings to museums and parks
• Prepare nutritious snacks and lunches for the children
• Perform light household tasks related to the children, including children's laundry and dishes
• Keep the nursery and play spaces clean, safe, and organized

Requirements

• Fluency in French to support language immersion
• Direct experience managing two children of different ages simultaneously

Preferred

• Background in preschool teaching or early childhood education

Compensation

• $30.00 – $35.00 / hour
• Additional compensation to be offered when watching multiple children
