Part Time In-Home Caregiver – San Jose, CA

A welcoming family in San Jose, CA 95125 is seeking a compassionate, kind, friendly, and patient caregiver to provide companionship and light assistance for their mother. The ideal candidate enjoys conversation, is a good listener, and brings a calm, relaxed presence.

Schedule:

• Tuesday & Friday 1:30-3:30pm
• Potential for additional hours as the relationship develops

Family Specifications:

• Smoke-free home 

Responsibilities:

• Provide companionship and build a friendly, trusting relationship with Mom
• Accompany her on walks
• Assist with basic household tasks and light housekeeping
• Help with grocery shopping and errands

 

Requirements:

• English speaking. Must be able to communicate clearly in English
• Calm, patient, and relaxed personality
• Attentive listener who is comfortable speaking clearly and slowly and moving at Mom’s pace

Compensation:

• $35-$40 per hour per hour (commensurate with experience)
• Mileage reimbursement when using your own vehicle for errands
