Join a trusted name in the Insurance industry, known for putting customers first and creating meaningful career paths. As a Member Specialist - Sales Consultant, you’ll help customers with their health insurance needs - providing friendly, solution-focused support over the phone.
You’ll handle inbound and warm outbound calls, assisting new and potential members with quotes, onboarding, and retention during their first 90 days. It’s all about great conversations and genuine care.
What You’ll Do:
- Starting 10th November - interviews happening now!
- Handle inbound and outbound calls to support health insurance sales
- Outbound calls are to warm leads only – predominantly from prospects who have generated an online quote.
- Welcome, assist and retain new members within their first 90 days of joining Australian Unity
- Focus on member satisfaction and retention
- Get Ready for an Incredible 4 Week Journey! Training hours are across Mon-Fri 8.30/9 - 4.30/5pm
Hours:
- Working FT 37.5 hour each week
- November training period: 8:30/9am to 4:30/5pm
- December to February: 8:30am – 6:00pm rotating roster
- March to April: 8:30am– 8:00pm rotating roster

- Sales: 4–5 sales per day
- Conversion Rate: 53%
- Call Quality & Compliance: 90% and above
- Behaviours & Conduct: Includes adherence to schedule and professional standards
What You Need:

Experience in sales or customer service (contact centre, retail, hospitality or similar).

Confident communicator with strong active listening skills.

Familiarity with Salesforce or any CRM systems (training provided).

A keen eye for detail and the ability to think critically in customer interactions.

A natural conversationalist, with a strong ability to empathise, understand member’s needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Available to work 37.5. hours full time each week (Mon-Fri rosters across 8:30am-8:00pm).
