📍 South Melbourne (On-Site)
💼 3-Month Fixed Term Contract – strong potential to extend
💰 $56,600 pro rata + penalty rates for Public Holidays (equivalent $34 per hour + Super)
🕘 Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM
🚀 Start Date: 24 Nov or ASAP

Our client, a fast-growing and well-known online retailer, is gearing up for their biggest sales period of the year - and they’re looking for confident, customer-focused legends to join their inbound support team!

This is the perfect opportunity for someone with previous call centre experience, who thrives in fast-paced environments, loves problem-solving, and enjoys creating brilliant customer experiences.

What you’ll be doing

  • Managing high-volume inbound calls (50-80+ per day) related to products and services

  • Supporting customers during an exciting Black Friday and Christmas sales influx

  • Handling a mix of service-based queries including:

    • Delivery delays

    • Refund and return requests

    • Complaints and escalations

    • Payment processing

    • Online product questions

  • Investigating issues, finding quick solutions, and leaving customers feeling genuinely supported

  • Navigating multiple systems to update orders, track deliveries, and action customer requests

What we’re looking for

  • 6–12 months call centre experience (essential)

  • Fully availability over Xmas period (public holiday dates optional to work)
  • Excellent verbal communication – clear, warm, and confident

  • A natural problem solver who enjoys untangling tricky situations

  • Ability to stay cool and compassionate in a high-volume environment

  • Someone organised, reliable, and ready to jump straight in
