Their Managed Services division operates nationally, offering customers a single point of contact for their complex waste needs, differentiated by exceptional customer service, specialised contractor access, and quality reporting.
The Opportunity
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Pricing Coordinator to join their National Operations Support team within their Managed Services division. This is a crucial role that directly impacts their ability to meet stakeholder expectations and drive business success.
As Pricing Coordinator, you'll be accountable for managing the costing of new and existing services, partnering proactively with service providers, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure competitive and accurate pricing.
What You'll Do
- Negotiate competitive rates with contractors and suppliers for both standard and non-standard services
- Build comprehensive cost analysis scenarios through data analysis
- Proactively investigate non-standard solutions where required
- Build and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and suppliers
- Ensure clear communication and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
- Provide backup support for Transition team activities including project administration and coordination
- Manage priorities effectively to meet agreed deadlines
What You'll Bring
Essential:
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
- High-level organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively in a busy environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Advanced interpersonal, negotiation, and collaboration abilities
- Action-oriented approach with strong time management skills
Desirable:
- Experience in the waste industry
- Previous experience managing or coordinating subcontractors/suppliers
- Procurement experience (Services or Facilities Management)
- Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline
- Experience in roles where project costing was essential to organisational success
