About the Role
Reporting to the Group CFO, this is a technically demanding, individual contributor role at the centre of the organisation's financial reporting. While the role sits close to senior leadership and offers exposure to the executive team and founder, the day to day is genuinely hands on, BAU focused work: consolidations, reconciliations and the detail that keeps the numbers right. It suits someone who is comfortable rolling up their sleeves and who brings both technical rigour and the emotional intelligence to work well across a relationship driven business.
What You'll Be Doing
- Leading the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual statutory reports, and managing group consolidations end to end
- Maintaining reconciliations and audit ready documentation across the group
- Safeguarding the integrity of ledger transactions, resolving accounting issues and strengthening controls and governance
- Coordinating audits, identifying control gaps and driving improvements to support statutory obligations
- Taking ownership of complex issues, getting to the root cause and following through to a sustainable fix
- Building trusted relationships with the CFO, executive team and senior stakeholders, knowing when to advocate for change and when to work within established ways of doing things
What Success Looks Like
Reporting that stands up to scrutiny, consolidations that run smoothly, clean audit outcomes, controls that hold, and a CFO who can rely on you to see things through.
What We're Looking For
- Technically strong, ideally with a Big 4 audit background
- CA or CPA qualified (or equivalent), with solid experience across statutory reporting, group consolidations and external audit management
- A track record working within complex, multi entity organisations
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills and genuine emotional intelligence, with the ability to read the room and adapt your approach across a range of personalities and seniority levels
- Internal audit experience would be highly regarded
Why Apply
Join a growing, well established business at a genuinely pivotal time, in a role offering real exposure to senior leadership while you build deep technical expertise in a hands on, high trust environment.
