Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday to Friday 8am – 5pm

Key Responsibilities of the Commercial Electrical Dispatcher include:

  • Responsible for the effective scheduling, coordination and dispatch of service technicians.
  • Communication with customers and service technicians regarding service calls/jobs.
  • Daily tracking of service technicians.
  • Provide material and logistical support.
  • Create, maintain, and close service/job tickets.
  • Supports Closeout Coordinator and/or Permit Expeditor as needed
  • Prepares reports and performs business planning software tasks as requested by department personnel.
  • Stays up to date with the business planning software changes and upgrades to remain a subject matter expert for others.
  • Compiles, reconciles, and reports service tech payroll information accurately and within required timeframes.
  • Provide excellent customer service.
  • Demonstrate company core values of transparency, organize, listen, equip, and appreciate.

Qualified candidates will have:

  • High School Diploma, G.E.D., or Equivalent (Preferred)
  • Commercial Electrical trade knowledge (Preferred)
  • Minimum 2 years professional experience working in an office setting.
  • Familiarity with dispatch boards, calendars, field service schedules, purchase orders, and maintaining customer records.
  • The soft skills to interact with people across situations that call for service, troubleshooting, and/or conflict resolution.
  • Outstanding written, verbal, and customer service communication skills
  • PC computer skills, MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook), web-browsing, on-line applications, and calendaring.
  • Experience handling phone calls, working in customer service, and/or acting as a messaging service.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must have a valid driver's license
