Business Development Manager
Position Summary: The Business Development Manager will focus on growing new accounts and maintaining relationships with existing corporate accounts. Strengths in communicating with corporate leaders and decision makers is key to growing the business for Lifesigns, the Wellness Division of West Cancer Center & Research Institute (WCC&RI) must model appropriate behavior as exemplified in WCC& RI’s Mission, Vision and Values.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Seek out new relationships with non-existing customers.
- Build new opportunities with existing customers to expand the business.
- Identify emerging markets and market shifts, while being fully aware of competition status.
- Monitor sales metrics and trends to achieve quota and objectives with monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasts
- Present regular reports on sales performance and insights to supervisor and senior management.
- Manage the mobile clinic supervisor and oversee strategy for corporate visits
- Work with product and operations teams to ensure product aligns with customer needs and feedback.
Qualifications/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
- 3-5 years selling experience.
- Experience selling to corporate HR leaders is a plus.
- Proven ability to meet and exceed sales quotas.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in CRM(Customer relationship management) software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent mentorship and leadership skills.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
Physical Demands/Conditions:
- The physical activities of this position may include climbing, pushing, standing, hearing, walking, reaching, grasping, kneeling, stooping, and repetitive motion.
- Must have good balance and coordination.
- The physical requirements of this position are: light work - exerting up to 25 lbs. of force occasionally and/or up to 10 lbs. of force frequently.
- The employee is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity, such as preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; or extensive reading.
- The conditions to which the employee will be subject in this position: The employee is not substantially exposed to adverse, environmental conditions; job functions are typically performed under conditions such as those found in general office or administrative work.
