Talent Acquisition Specialist
Summary:
The Talent Acquisition Specialist screens, recruits, and interviews internal and external applicants to fill current or expected job vacancies in a challenging labor market. Coordinates necessary steps and information to hire applicants. Takes a proactive role in filling job vacancies and demonstrates a strong sense of urgency in work matters. Consults with management to identify and recommend the most qualified candidates. Maintains an effective internal and external working relationships. Stays abreast of HR practices. Utilizes ATS and other databases for research, applicant tracking and new hire processing. Models appropriate behavior.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Demonstrates expertise and understanding of talent acquisition principles.
- Knows and uses well the fundamental concepts, practices and procedures of clinical and nonclinical recruitment.
- Intermediate to advanced technical knowledge.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Must be a people orientated individual, with enthusiasm to fill jobs and provide excellent customer service to internal stakeholders and external parties.
- Proven successful skills in a proactive approach to Recruiting.
- Ability to plan and control projects.
- Ability to communicate effectively dealing with internal and external clients.
- Adapts services or processes to meet the clients’ needs.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Recruits and refers qualified internal and external applicants for posted positions, as part of the recruiting process.
- May conduct phone screening as necessary
- Responsible for extending job offers and initiating the onboarding process for new hires.
- Counsels with prospective and current employees regarding employment procedures, processes and activities.
- Works to develop pipeline for future opportunities.
- Complies and reports confidential and statistical data.
- Understands, applies, supports and facilitates system and department policies, procedures and standards and provide input to budgetary needs.
Supervision Provided by this Position:
- There are no supervisory or lead responsibilities associated with this position.
Physical Demands/Conditions:
- The physical activities of this position may include climbing, pushing, standing, hearing, walking, reaching, grasping, kneeling, stooping, and repetitive motion.
- Must have good balance and coordination.
- The physical requirements of this position are: light work - exerting up to 25 lbs. of force occasionally and/or up to 10 lbs. of force frequently.
- The Associate is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity, such as preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; or extensive reading.
