Morgan Pet Clinic is seeking a compassionate and confident Weekend Urgent Care Veterinarian to join our team in Omaha, Nebraska.

This opportunity is ideal for veterinarians who enjoy fast-paced medicine, problem-solving, and helping pets when they need care most. As a Weekend Urgent Care Veterinarian, you'll manage same-day and urgent medical cases while working alongside an experienced support team in a collaborative, community-focused practice. Best of all, you'll practice urgent care medicine without the demands of overnight emergency shifts.

The Opportunity

This weekend-only veterinarian position offers the chance to practice a wide variety of urgent care and wellness medicine while maintaining flexibility during the week. You'll see dogs and cats requiring same-day medical attention, develop treatment plans, perform diagnostics, and work closely with pet owners to provide clear communication and recommendations.

Responsibilities include:

  • Evaluating and treating urgent and same-day veterinary cases
  • Performing diagnostics and developing efficient treatment plans
  • Managing urgent medical conditions and soft tissue surgical cases based on your comfort level
  • Communicating clearly and compassionately with clients
  • Collaborating with technicians and support staff to ensure smooth patient care
  • Maintaining thorough and accurate medical records

Who We're Looking For

We're seeking a veterinarian who is comfortable making medical decisions in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working as part of a collaborative team.

Qualified candidates will have:

  • DVM or equivalent degree from an accredited veterinary school
  • Nebraska veterinary licensure (or eligibility for licensure)
  • Strong clinical judgment and problem-solving skills
  • Comfort with urgent care medicine and same-day case management
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

This role is a great fit for experienced clinicians, veterinarians with urgent care experience, or doctors looking for a flexible schedule while continuing to practice high-quality medicine.

Our salary ranges are primarily determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. The Company offers competitive compensation along with a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision benefits, vacation, sick leave, 401(k), and more depending on location. You will be provided more detailed information about compensation and benefits for your specific location.
