Veterinary Assistant
Wolf Run Veterinary Clinic is seeking an experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our team!

We're looking for a genuine team player — someone who is equally comfortable in the exam room, alongside our surgery team, running diagnostics, and anywhere else the day takes them. In this role, you will:
- Ensure efficient exam room workflow and outstanding client communication, including check-ins, treatment plan review, and discharge instructions
- Assist our surgery team with patient prep, setup, monitoring, and recovery
- Perform in-house diagnostics including microscopy and laboratory sample collection and processing
- Review treatment plans, provide discharge instructions, and address client questions with empathy and clarity
- Collaborate with your team to support the veterinarian's orders during outpatient visits, ensuring the highest level of patient care
- Jump in wherever you're needed — this is a team-first environment and we value versatility as much as technical skill
Schedule and compensation:
- Compensation: $15 – $17 per hour, for each hour worked
- Schedule: This is a full-time position, with a 4 x 10 schedule and availability needed Monday–Friday with rotating weekend shifts every 4–5 weeks.

Minimum qualifications and skill set:
- 2+ years of veterinary assistant experience required
- Proficiency in the following skills:
- Client education and communication
- Safe, low-stress patient handling and restraint
- Patient assessment, nursing care, and monitoring
- Oral medication administration and SQ Injections
- Venipuncture skills preferred
