Community Ambassador (Temp, Part-Time)

The Community Ambassador will play a critical role in supporting the evolution of Angel City’s community impact identity. This individual will collaborate with multiple teams across the organization to ensure accurate and timely information is shared, while working with community partners.  This is an opportunity to support strategic plans to build strong partnerships and strengthen the ties between Angel City and our impact in the community.  

This is a temporary, part-time position that will report to the Director of Community Impact. The role will run from January 2026 - December 2026.

We will be accepting applications from Thursday, December 18, 2025, through Tuesday, December 23, 2025.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Director of Community Impact to support multi-year strategic plans for community impact.
  • Maintain regular communication and strong working relationships with community partners in order to facilitate programming, track metrics, manage budgets, and respond to community needs.
  • Responsible for ongoing updates and proper documentation in order to track partnerships. 
  • Work closely with the Director of Community Impact and Partnership Marketing team to strategize and execute partnership deliverables.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to share relevant updates along with creative briefs to support storytelling. 
  • Coordinate home game tasks, including, but not limited to, pre-game/halftime moments, buses for community groups, and community booth activations. 
  • Demonstrate understanding of the Community department functions, and specifically the Community Impact community partnerships. 
  • Other duties as assigned. 

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Applicants must be at least 18 years of age by the start of employment.
  • Understanding of soccer with previous playing experience is preferred.
  • Excellent communication, written, time management, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid model that includes commuting to BMO Stadium, ACFC HQ in Santa Monica, and community events in the greater LA area. 
  • Ability to work all home match days and non-traditional hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must be able to set up game-day activations, which often requires carrying moderate-sized materials or boxes; employee must be able to work in outdoor conditions and lift and carry up to forty (40) pounds.
  • Ability to maintain the highest level of professionalism and confidentiality. 
  • Personable, proactive, creative, and innovative team player who believes in the mission and values of Angel City FC and the NWSL preferred.
  • Knowledge of Google Suite, Zoom, and Asana is a bonus.
  • Bilingual with fluency in Spanish is a bonus. 

Compensation

  • This role is temporary, part-time for up to 25 hours a week at the rate of $20 - $25 an hour.
