Role Summary
The Coordinator, Commerce provides operational backbone for Angel City’s Commerce team, ensuring product launches run smoothly from concept to checkout. This role manages the day-to-day details — vendor communication, timelines, product setup, sample logistics, and reporting — that keep the merchandising engine running.
This is an opportunity to learn the full merchandising and retail business from the ground up, supporting a function that is both a major revenue driver and a cultural amplifier for the club.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Support
- Manage vendor and partner communications for timelines, invoices, and product details.
- Track sample orders, approvals, and deliveries for product launches.
- Support product setup in e-commerce and retail systems (Shopify, POS).
- Maintain launch trackers and dashboards to ensure on-time execution.
Launch Readiness
- Coordinate cross-functional check-ins leading up to product launches.
- Partner with Creative Services to ensure product assets (photos, copy, graphics) are delivered.
- Assist with in-stadium retail preparation and merchandising displays.
Reporting & Admin
- Support budget tracking, invoicing, and reconciliation for Commerce projects.
- Pull and compile sales and inventory reports for analysis.
- Maintain shared files, calendars, and process documentation for the team.
Success Measures
- Timely and accurate execution of product launches.
- Smooth vendor communications and logistics management.
- Reliable reporting and data that support decision-making.
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in retail, merchandising, or operations (internships included).
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms (Shopify strongly preferred).
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a proven ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Strong communication skills and confidence working with external vendors.
- Passion for sports, fashion, or cultural products.
- A “roll-up-your-sleeves” mindset and eagerness to learn.
Compensation
This is a full-time, non-exempt role with a range between $22.00-$26.00 and hour, which will be determined based on experience and qualifications.
