About the role:
The Stewards are responsible for ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of The Lighthouse studios and common spaces. This role involves performing routine inspections of the campus and its perimeters while supporting the campus coffee bar, scullery kitchen, and office spaces.
Here’s what you’ll do day-to-day:
- Assist Studio Production Manager and Audio Visual team in turning over and resetting studios in between member use.
- Assist in setting up and dismantling equipment as required for special projects or events.
- Monitor and maintain the cleanliness, organization, and safety of the scullery kitchen.
- Daytime monitoring and maintenance of the campus outside perimeters and inside common areas
- Organize and audit inventory of maintenance supplies and request and support AGM with replenishment when needed.
- Communicate all building issues and needed repairs to the AGM in a timely manner.
- Participate in training and development programs to improve skills and member experience.
Here’s what we’re looking for:
- High school diploma or equivalent, but not required.
- Previous experience in commercial or residential maintenance or housekeeping.
- Keen attention to detail.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to work independently and as part of a diverse team.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
- Frequent bending, squatting, climbing, and standing for extended periods.
- Ability to work in a variety of environments, including indoor and outdoor, quiet work spaces, and production studios.
- Will require daytime, evening, and weekend availability.
- Exposure to varying temperatures and outdoor conditions.
The anticipated rate of pay for this position is $19.00 an hour
