Job Title: Manager, Creator Partnerships
Work Location: Berlin (Flexible Hybrid)
Start Date: As soon as possible
Whalar, part of Accenture Song is the leading, most awarded Creator and Social agency. We transform brands into cultural drivers by unlocking the full creative power of Creators.
We go beyond the conventional social and influencer strategy. We have the technology and methodology to tap into the beating pulse of communities, listen to nuances that move culture, and connect brands in ways that make them unforgettable.
With hubs in London, Berlin, New York, and Los Angeles, our reach is global.
About the role:
As a Manager on the Creator Partnerships team, you will help drive our DACH creator strategy, leading talent discovery and agency relationships. In this role, you will bridge high-level planning with hands-on creator delivery, taking complex campaigns from initial creator selection through to final wrap-up.
In this role, you will lead complex creator selections for medium-to-large-scale campaigns, ensuring projects meet brand standards, quality guidelines, and diversity goals. While maintaining ownership over creator selection and brand matchmaking, you will also act as a trusted advisor to junior team members (Executives), guiding their daily execution and helping shape team workflows. Success in this role requires strong creator experience, an established network in the creator space, sharp strategic thinking, and the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment.
Here’s what you’ll do day to day:
- Lead end-to-end creator discovery, vetting, and selection for key campaigns across the DACH region, ensuring alignment with client KPIs, budget constraints, and brand safety.
- Proactively identify, build, and nurture strong relationships with key creator talent agencies, managers, and independent creators across DACH.
- Review and refine client- and creator-facing campaign materials to guarantee high-quality execution and adherence to brand standards.
- Mentor and support Executives, providing hands-on guidance on sourcing strategies, agency negotiations, and problem-solving.
- Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams (Client Services andStrategy) to provide insights on DACH creator trends and talent feasibility.
- Drive DEI best practices across creator sourcing, actively expanding Whalar’s network to represent diverse communities, perspectives, and voices.
- Analyse campaign performance metrics and creator database insights to continuously optimise talent recommendations.
Here’s what we’re looking for:
- 3-5 years of experience in influencer marketing, creator partnerships, talent management, or agency environments.
- Strong existing relationships with creator talent, management agencies, and key industry players within the DACH region.
- Deep knowledge of the creator economy, social platforms (especially TikTok, Instagram, YouTube), and content trends.
- High resilience and agility when navigating tight deadlines, shifting client demands, and fast-moving industry changes.
- Exceptional organisational skills with a proven track record of managing multiple campaign workflows simultaneously with high attention to detail.
- Demonstrated experience or strong potential in guiding, mentoring, and onboarding junior team members.
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills, comfortable serving as a key point of contact for internal stakeholders, talent, and agency reps.
- A passion for diversity, equity, and inclusion, with a proactive approach to incorporating underrepresented talent into commercial campaigns.
- Native or near-native fluency in German (spoken and written) and professional working proficiency in English are required.
