💻 Role
- Maintain an efficient CI/CD pipeline to help developers ship the software faster and safer in a structured environment.
- Build local environment tooling to enable the engineering team to build and test product features swiftly and safely.
- Work with the engineering team to get services deployed across different environments.
- Implement and optimize developer workflow to reduce friction and increase productivity.
- Providing recommendations for architecture and process improvements.
Team members in this role are required to be within commuting distance of our San Francisco, CA, Los Angeles, CA, New York, NY, or Seattle, WA hubs.

As our next Developer Experience Engineer, you should have 5+ years of developer productivity or similar experience, helping build scalable systems that can handle millions of users, plus:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Excellent developer experience instincts. You first think about engineer experience rather than the best technical solution.
- Previous experience at a hyper-growth startup. You’re a self-starter who can hit the ground running with little direction.
- Prior experience in a public cloud environment (AWS, GCP) using Kubernetes, Docker, and/or Terraform.
- Expert knowledge of various CI/CD workflows.
- Exceptional coding skills and the ability to ship lightning-fast. We primarily use Python and Elixir, but previous knowledge of each is not required.
- Excellent communication and writing skills.
💰Compensation
$185,000 - $245,000/year + benefits + equity
The salary range may be inclusive of several levels that would be applicable to the position. Final salary will be based on a number of factors including, level, relevant prior experience, skills and expertise. This range is only inclusive of base salary, not benefits (more details below) or equity.
