Product Designer

Wheely is not a traditional ride-hailing company. We are building a platform with user privacy at its core while successfully scaling a five-star service to millions of rides across multiple cities.

As a Senior Product Designer, you will be:

• Working as a self-directed member of a cross-functional team designing intuitive and elegant solutions to enhance the customer experience
• Leading the end-to-end design process from ideation to production
• Supporting product managers in setting initiatives, identifying growth opportunities and defining a product roadmap
• Writing clear and concise UX copy that is mindful of the context
• Influencing our design systems to improve product quality and consistency.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of product design experience with a focus on mobile platforms
• Experience designing complex features, attention to detail and ability to translate customer needs into actionable items
• Capable of seeing the bigger picture and seeking systematic solutions to maintain consistency of UX solutions
• Technical background and attention to product quality: ability to collaborate with engineers, understand technical constraints, iterate on solutions and fine-tune the result
• Excellent design skills and a clean visual sense
• Experience in crafting well-balanced animations and interactions to ensure interfaces feel natural
• Ability to be proactive: can move things forward, collect and assess relevant data, and prioritise initiatives
• Highly communicative and self-organised: can explain, clearly articulate design rationale and prioritise feedback to iterate rapidly.
