About the Role

As the first dedicated Brand Manager at Whisper Aero, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our marketing strategy. Your primary focus will be the successful launch of a revolutionary air management product, with responsibilities extending to overall marketing and communications for Whisper Aero’s broader portfolio, including air management and air mobility solutions. This role offers a unique opportunity to build and scale our marketing function from the ground up, supported by future team members. Time will be split between product launch marketing and overall company marketing.

What You'll Do

  • Create and implement comprehensive go-to-market plans that align with product launch goals.
  • Finalize and refine the brand playbook to establish a consistent brand identity across all marketing channels.
  • Lead the development and launch of a pre-order web page, collaborating with external website builders to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Identify and implement effective digital marketing channels to reach our target audience, including social media, email marketing, and digital advertising.
  • Develop compelling content and collateral, including website copy, social media posts, press releases, and promotional materials tailored to product launch.
  • Work closely with Product, Industrial Design, Sales, and Customer Support to ensure integrated marketing efforts.
  • Supervise marketing interns (data analyst and graphic design) to support SEO, A/B testing, and collateral creation.
  • Oversee all marketing communications for Whisper Aero, ensuring cohesive messaging across air management and air mobility products.
  • Manage and grow Whisper Aero’s social media presence, creating and enforcing posting guidelines and a consistent content strategy.
  • Represent Whisper Aero at industry events, trade shows, and conferences. Participate in planning and reviewing trade show booth designs and strategies.
  • Shape and manage Whisper Aero’s external narrative, write and distribute press releases, and engage with media outlets to build brand credibility.
  • Develop consistent verbiage, vocabulary, tone across products for internal and external communications

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing, with a proven track record in developing and executing product launch strategies.
  • Experience managing and coordinating marketing activities across multiple channels, including social media, digital advertising, and events.
  • Experience in creating digital advertising strategies and monitoring performance, including paid search, paid social, and influencer collaborations.
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms, sales funnel optimization, and customer journey mapping.
  • Proficiency with tools like Shopify, Google Analytics, CRM software, and social media management platforms.
  • Proficiency in graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) and wireframing tools (e.g., Figma).
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft engaging messaging and content.
  • Experience analyzing campaign performance and optimizing strategies to drive ROI, including SEO and A/B testing.
  • Existing or prior relationships with major tech or startup publications.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience marketing consumer products, particularly in power tools, consumer electronics, or sustainable technologies.
  • Proven experience organizing trade show presences, conferences, or similar in-person events to drive brand engagement.
  • Experience with lead generation, email marketing, and community-building techniques.
