Commercial Analyst

The role focuses on analyzing commercial agreements and workflows to ensure alignment across scheduling, commercial, operations, accounting, and regulatory functions. This position plays a key role in WhiteWater growth, supported by data-driven decisions that optimize operational workflows and overall performance.
Job Responsibilities:
- Support end-to-end commercial activities, including contract setup, requests for amendments, short-term service agreements, and coordination of in-service milestones.
- Manage customer information and contracts in myQuorum Pipeline, ensuring consistency between contract terms and physical operations.
- Organize and maintain documentation related to pipeline interconnects, including Interconnect Agreements, Operational Balancing Agreements (OBAs), engineering schematics, calibration records, and asset In-Service documentation.
- Drive collaboration by developing and maintaining efficient workflows and processes between Operations, Commercial, Scheduling, Engineering, and Accounting resources.
- Work with Regulatory to ensure all Federal and State regulatory filings are complete and submitted on a timely basis, including but not limited to, tariff filings and quarterly reports for the Railroad Commission of Texas and the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission.
- Participate in cross functional collaboration and data gathering efforts.
- Analyze commercial operations workflows and recommend enhancements to improve system efficiency, reduce bottlenecks, and ensure data integrity.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve data integrity, enhance system reporting, and increase visibility into operational performance.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent.
- 5+ years of industry experience in gas, oil or similar utility industry preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
- Self-motivated with a meticulous attention to detail and ability to produce high quality results
- Possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Teamwork skills required: Candidate must possess excellent interpersonal skills and effectively collaborate with others to optimize team success.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities and internal motivation for fundamental understanding of pipeline and operational systems.
