Funny name, serious business

We make eco-friendly products and donate 50% of our profits to provide clean water and help build toilets for the billions of people who lack proper access. So far, we’ve contributed over $13.3 million AUD (roughly $8.9 million USD) to fund sanitation projects around the globe. Basically, we’re really good at doing good.

With hubs in Australia, the Philippines, China, the US, UK and Europe, our amazing team of 200+ work to make the biggest possible impact for people and the planet. Over the next couple of years, we’re hoping to increase our annual donation tenfold to get us closer to our dream of everyone in the world having access to clean water and sanitation services.

A bit about the role

We’re on a mission to transform our business intelligence game with Looker Data Studio. We're seeking a talented Business Intelligence Analyst to join our Data & Analytics Team for a year-long casual engagement and help us harness the power of data to optimize our efforts and drive business growth. 

As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you'll be instrumental in our transition to Looker Data Studio. You'll collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand their data needs and develop insightful reports and dashboards that enable data-driven decision-making.

Reporting to the Director of Marketing Analytics, you will play an important role in developing comprehensive reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights to our marketing team. These visualizations will enable data-driven decision-making and ultimately drive revenue growth. A strong foundation in data manipulation and a commitment to accuracy are essential for ensuring the reliability and value of your work. Your ability to effectively communicate insights and tailor your reports to the needs of various stakeholders will also be crucial in supporting the marketing team's success.

If you worked here this past month here are some things you might have been involved in:  

  • Dived deep into our data using SQL and LookML to create efficient data models.
  • Built beautiful dashboards as clear as day and easy on the eyes that helped our team make data-driven decisions.
  • Worked closely with our Marketing gurus to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions. 
  • Ensured that our data was always accurate and reliable. 
  • Continuously improved our reporting processes to make our insights even more valuable. 

Our Marketing & Innovation team spans the US, Australia and the Philippines. We optimise our time spent together by committing to 4 hours per day of collaboration time which sees our US team aligning to PST afternoons and our Australian and Filipino team diving into earlier AEST and PH mornings.

Let’s talk about you

You are a data wizard who can turn numbers into stories. Using your proficient skills in Looker Data Studio, SQL and LookML, you are comfortable wrangling data and crafting it into beautiful, insightful dashboards. 

Reporting is your jam. 

You’re overseeing the marketing team’s reporting, from ad hoc to predictive, to advise on overall business growth, optimization efforts and more. 

You have a growth (marketing) mindset.

You can understand marketing analytics principles and feel comfortable working with digital data (think Google Analytics, Shopify). With data and dashboards at the ready, you love finding new ways to reach our audience, attract new customers and build solid relationships with our existing customer community.
