Service Hydronics Technician

We're looking for a hard-working person to join us as a Hydronics Technician in our Service Department! As our Hydronics Technician, you step into a bustling mechanical wonderland, greeted by the hum of state-of-the-art systems. With your extensive experience, you proactively troubleshoot complex hydronics/boilers, seamlessly install technical HVAC systems, and expertly navigate intricate control setups.

Earn a competitive wage of $36 - $48 per hour, depending on skill level and experience.

STABLE, FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE
You can expect to work Monday through Friday, with the potential to be added to an on-call list.
OUR IDEAL SERVICE HYDRONICS TECHNICIAN:
We're looking for someone who meets these qualifications:
- Commercial, residential, or custom home hydronics experience
- 4th year or Journeyperson Ticket
- Tech-savvy with iPads and texting apps
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work under minimal supervision
- Position attitude and excellent communication and customer service skills
- Class 5 driver's license with a clean driving record
- Attention to detail and a motivation to produce high-quality work
And who can manage these responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair residential and commercial hydronic/boiler systems
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hydronic issues, including leaks, pressure problems, and combustion irregularities
- Perform routine maintenance, including burner tuning, cleaning, and replacing worn-out components
- Test and calibrate controls, safety devices, and system components
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards
- Work with hydronic and steam heating systems, including pumps, expansion tanks, and piping
- Provide excellent customer service, explaining issues, repair options, and maintenance recommendations
- Maintain accurate service records, including work performed, parts used, and follow-up actions
- Follow all safety protocols and company guidelines while on job sites
