Commercial HVAC Site Foreman
Wiehler Mechanical Ltd. in Calgary, AB is seeking an experienced and motivated Commercial HVAC Foreman to lead and oversee commercial HVAC projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising job sites, coordinating with project managers and estimators, and ensuring that work is progressing according to schedule and specifications. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and a commitment to safety and quality.

You'll receive competitive pay ranging from $40.00-$45.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
STABLE, FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE
You'll typically work Monday through Friday between 7:00 AM and 3:30 PM

OUR IDEAL COMMERCIAL HVAC FOREMAN:
We're looking for someone who meets these qualifications:
- Journeyperson Certification
- Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial sheet metal installation or HVAC ductwork
- Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication, duct systems, and ventilation components
- Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and project plans
- Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and lift heavy materials
- Excellent leadership, communication and problem-solving skills
- Experience with job site coordination, project scheduling, and team supervision
- Physical capability to perform plumbing tasks, including lifting heavy materials
- Valid driver's license, clean driver’s abstract and ability to travel to job sites as needed
And who can manage these responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate all HVAC activities on commercial job sites
- Supervise, mentor, and support a team of Journeypersons and Apprentices
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to ensure proper installation
- Ensure compliance with local plumbing codes, safety regulations, and industry standards
- Schedule and coordinate work assignments to meet project deadlines and budget requirements
- Inspect completed work for accuracy, quality, and compliance with project specifications
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other trades to ensure smooth project execution
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and project progress
- Troubleshoot and resolve plumbing issues, ensuring prompt and effective solutions
- Enforce company safety policies and ensure all team members follow proper safety procedures

- Fall arrest
- Scissor lift
- First aid
