  • 3AM is our content innovation studio. We use insights to identify an audience & how to immerse them into a world, then turn stories into participation-first content and experiences (social campaigns, original content, experiential, etc.)
  • Wild Card Editorial & Skip Films create the opening line (trailer, a/v assets), the moment that invites the audience into the story.

Wild Card is seeking an ambitious social-first strategy and insights director to lead a team of strategists to set the course for impactful creative strategy that archives our clients’ business objectives.  This role works across a bevy of entertainment and brand clients including both project and AOR relationships.

This role will both lead a team of thinkers and doers and is a thinker and a doer. The Sr. Director, Strategy and Insights position plays a pivotal role across our client roster as a lead driver of direction for campaigns and is a revenue driver for their division. The ideal candidate will have a natural love for all things strategy and embrace the process of bringing campaigns to life by playing a key role from inception to execution; someone passionate about leading a team and building a business with data-informed insights that birth a creative campaign that delivers for our clients.

Job Responsibilities

  • Set the strategic plan for creative campaigns and ensure ideas are delivering are clients goals
  • Work across client categories including entertainment, alcohol/beer, CPG, tech, hospitality, travel, and more
  • Strong client communication skills to effectively build relationships/consensus and sell through projects while instilling confidence
  • Ensure media, messaging, creative, and measurement is cohesively aligned to achieve business objectives
  • Work closely with account directors, producers, and creative leads
  • Deep understanding of end-to-end multi platform marketing campaigns including strategic direction, execution, and metrics.
  • A results-driven thinker who can distill large-scale insights into actionable creative execution
  • Experience working closely with and deep knowledge of best practices on social channels including Meta Platforms, YouTube, Twitter/X, Snapchat, LinkedIn, and Reddit.
  • Understanding of the influencer marketing space from overarching strategy through metric-driven execution
  • Analytical thinker with:
    • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (i.e. spreadsheet formatting, pivot tables, vlookups) and Google Suite
    • Expertise in media planning tools such as YouGov, GWI, Helixa, and Simmons
    • Experience constructing Boolean queries and using social listening tools including Sprout and other industry standards
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to manage content strategy, quality of work, and efficiencies for both small-scale and large-scale projects
  • Ensure our work feels socially native and relevant, staying up to speed and inspiring internal and external teams with their understanding of social trends and cultural conversations

 

Required Skills

  • 8+ years of deep strategy and insights experience
  • Highly collaborative team leader with a compassionate bias for action
  • Player/Coach who gets things done, leads by example, and elevate’s their teams' skills
  • Understands and embraces strategy as a profit center and is a revenue driver growing existing partnerships and passionate about pitching
  • Experience providing strategic direction for 360 and social-led campaigns for both entertainment and brand clients
  • 3+ years of experience creating marketing/advertising campaigns from developing vision and the message platform to overseeing production on time and within budget
  • Proven track record of successfully selling strategy assignments including but not limited to: audience segmentation, social playbooks, brand/content strategy, ethnographies, competitive audits, message hierarchy, and brand architecture
  • Familiarity with and passionate about Artificial Intelligence and it’s place in our industry, possess the ability to speak confidently on the topic

Pay Range 

$180,000 - $250,000

Pay will be commensurate with the unique experience, skills, and qualifications that the candidate brings to the position.
