Front Office Desktop Support Engineer – Trade Floor
Front Office Desktop Support Engineer required for a leading International Bank providing First & Second Line support to their VIP Trade Floor (Front Office) users. You must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in Desktop Support to include experience in a Trade Floor banking environment and supporting Market Data systems such as Bloomberg and Reuters.
Responsibilities:
- Dealing with IT support issues & queries via Service NOW
- Provide both First & Second Line Support
- Manage day-to-day support to ensure stability, reliability and availability of applications and services for the business within the Front Office / Trade Floor
- Escalating issues as necessary per established escalation policies
- Collect diagnostics and other supporting evidence to identify the root cause of problems
- Create and maintain all operational documentation, processes and procedures
Essential Experience:
- Experienced Desktop Support Analyst
- Microsoft Windows & MAC OS
- Active Directory
- Desktop Hardware
- Microsoft Office
- Mobile Devices
- SCCM desktop client management
- Front Office
- Market Data systems such as Bloomberg and Reuters
- Excel
- VDI / Citrix
- ITIL certified / understanding
