The Position

We are seeking an experienced IT Agile Program Manager (Scrum Master) to lead two Agile teams focused on delivering a comprehensive case management system and unified data platform. This role operates within the DevOps and SDLC vertical and is instrumental in driving the success our digital transformation and cloud strategy.

The ideal candidate brings a strong Agile mindset, excels at fostering collaboration and understands how to integrate product delivery with modern DevOps practices. This is a high-impact role within a fast-paced legal environment, offering the opportunity to shape the firm’s technology landscape and delivery maturity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (standups, sprint planning, retrospectives, etc) for two Agile teams
  • Coach team members on Agile best practices and foster a culture of continuous improvement
  • Remove impediments and manage risks to ensure smooth project progress
  • Coordinate between teams working on case management, data integrations, contact management, and case journaling features
  • Liaise with law firm stakeholders to manage expectations and communicate project status
  • Promote Agile principles throughout the organization
  • Monitor team performance and implement process improvements
  • Track delivery metrics including velocity, predictability, and throughput for integration into PMO reporting dashboards
  • Act as the PMO's delivery lead for SDLC-related initiatives, ensuring consistency with Agile best practices and firm delivery standards
  • Coordinate change readiness and release activities in partnership with DevOps and QA teams

Qualification

  • At least 5 years of hands-on project management experience with:
    • Agile development teams
    • Product Management teams
    • Data engineering/translation teams
    • QA testers and automation engineers
    • Third-Party application developers and integrators
  • 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master/Agile team leader.
  • Advanced Certified Scrum Master (A-CSM) or equivalent certification.
  • Experience with the Microsoft tech stack, including Azure PaaS and SaaS models, a big plus.
  • Has an eye for enterprise architecture and integrations to help promote strategic mindsets, at a program level.
  • On-prem-to-cloud migrations, a big plus.
  • Waterfall and Agile methodologies (including Kanban, Lean, and/or SCRUM) is required.
  • Effective communication skills within team members and executive leadership.
  • Managing change and driving a change mindset.
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills.
  • Understanding of enterprise-level user journeys and workflows.
  • Ability to prioritize stories, drive development deadlines, and ensure team focus.
  • CSPO, CAL I Agile Leader Certification, a plus.
  • Kanban Team Practitioner experience, a plus.
  • Experience with legal technology projects preferred.
  • Excellent facilitator for cohesive development and product team collaboration.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycles and data integration concepts.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced legal environment with an involved business stakeholder base.
  • Proficiency with Atlassian suite, including JIRA, Confluence, and Service Management.

A variety of factors are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to experience, education, licensure and/or certifications, geographic location, market demands, other business and organizational needs, and other factors permitted by law. Final salary wages offered may be outside of this range based on other reasons and individual circumstances.  This position is considered full-time and therefore qualifies for benefits including 401(k) retirement savings plan, medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. 

Salary Range:

$140,000 - $165,000 USD
