The Position
This is an excellent opportunity for legal nurse consultant professionals seeking to expand their careers and who are interested in gaining fast-paced professional experience with a national law firm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Order, Review, identify, and organize relevant medical records
- Prepare chronologies, timelines, and detailed summaries of medical documentation
- Evaluate medical issues related to causation and damages
- Assess strengths and weaknesses of medical aspects of cases in collaboration with attorneys
- Conduct literature searches and research on medical topics, parties, and experts
- Assist in identifying and organizing materials for expert witness review
- Prepare demonstrative evidence and assist with deposition, ADR, and trial preparation
- Educate attorneys and clients on relevant medical concepts
Qualifications
- Legal Nurse Consultant Certification (LNCC through AALNC preferred)
- Strong analytical and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proven experience in medical and damages analysis
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
