People Operations Specialist

Austin, TX

Great organizations are made of great people. We're growing, and we’re looking for a People Operations Specialist to help us find, hire, and support our team. Working directly with our Director of People Operations, you’ll own full-cycle recruiting, onboarding and offboarding, benefits administration and leave management, and support a variety of other Talent Acquisition and HR functions.

You’ll partner closely with leaders across the company, from Engineering to Client Success, and help develop recruiting and HR approaches that amplify our company culture. To thrive in this position, you’ll bring strong candidate sourcing skills, a talent for building relationships, and clear, warm communication. You're highly organized, detail-oriented, and trusted to handle confidential and sensitive matters with discretion.

Responsibilities

  • Talent Acquisition (roughly 60% of the role)
    • Manage full-cycle recruiting: intake with hiring managers, sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and offers
    • Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements, hiring plans, and interview processes
    • Proactively source candidates through LinkedIn, referrals, job boards, and other channels
    • Manage the applicant tracking system (ATS), keeping candidate data and pipeline reporting accurate
    • Deliver a candidate experience that reflects our culture, with clear and timely communication at every stage
  • People Operations (roughly 40% of the role)
    • Administer HR systems (HRIS), keeping employee data accurate, secure, and compliant
    • Assist all aspects of the employment lifecycle: from offer to offboarding
    • Support benefits administration and leave management
    • Serve as first point of contact for employee questions on policies, benefits, and HR processes
    • Help maintain the employee handbook, policies, and internal documentation
    • Ensure compliance with employment and hiring laws, and flag risks early
    • Identify opportunities to automate and streamline both recruiting and People processes

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from 4-year college or university in human resources or related field
  • 1-3 years of experience in talent acquisition, HR, or people operations, with direct full-cycle recruiting experience
  • Proven track record of sourcing, closing, and hiring across multiple functions (e.g. engineering, sales, G&A)
  • Experience with technical or specialized recruiting required
  • Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS (Greenhouse), and HRIS (TriNet) preferred
  • Working knowledge of employment law and hiring compliance
  • Must be detail-oriented, able to multi-task, and be extremely organized
  • Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills, including ability to communicate with all levels of the org chart
  • Ability to say: “I don’t know, but I can get that answer for you” and then find the answer
  • Able to work independently (but understand we won’t leave you on an island)
