Impact of the Role
- As a Sales Development Representative, you'll be playing a crucial role of breaking into new accounts within all levels of our target customer segments
- The day-to-day role includes collaboration with Account Executives, market research to identify new potential customers and leads, and qualification of these leads
- Drive Wingspan’s outbound prospecting motion, generating sales leads that will turn into opportunities and closed business
- Eager to advance their career by demonstrating their ability to be tenacious self-starters every day
- Educate and develop leads through outbound prospecting via phone calls, videos, emails and events
- Generate email sequences and make cold-calls to map and penetrate accounts
- Conduct follow-up calls and emails until meetings are set
Qualifications
- Available to work in office from our Union Square office 4 days per week.
- You are an active communicator who collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to consistently improve processes and communication
- You have experience with Outreach.io or similar sales engagement software
- Experience in a fast-growing startup and/or in the HR or payments space is a plus
Requirements
- You have 6+ months of experience in an SDR role
- You have an entrepreneurial mindset and enjoy building and testing new processes
- You are adaptable and comfortable with a fast-paced environment
- You are extremely organized and a diligent note-taker
Compensation
- At Wingspan, we pride ourselves on offering a competitive and comprehensive compensation package that reflects our commitment to attracting top talent. The annual total compensation (this includes base and incentive pay) for this role ranges from $75,000 -$80,000 and is accompanied by a target equity package and an extensive suite of benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance. All figures cited are in USD and pertain to workers located in the United States.
