ABOUT THE SENIOR BACKEND ENGINEER ROLE:

WIN is looking for a talented Senior Backend Engineer who is interested in building industry redefining capabilities to transform the real estate industry. You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team building state-of-the-art applications and data capabilities.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Develop and manage end-to-end execution of multiple development projects / priorities
  2. Define clear deliverables and roles / responsibilities required for specific projects or initiatives
  3. Take a hands-on approach to diving deep into architecture, design, and reviewing code
  4. Champion communication and alignment with stakeholders and technical teams
  5. Devise and implement plans for testing / QA, security, performance, and cost optimization.
  6. Troubleshoot and debug issues across the entire software stack, including frontend, backend, and infrastructure components
  7. Help recruit, train, and mentor exceptional colleagues, including conducting code reviews and providing technical leadership
  8. Design and build using best practices in engineering, security, and design

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  2. 7+ years of experience developing enterprise applications with 3+ years of relevant experience as a lead developer
  3. Strong technical architecture and coding experience (as a developer/leader) (e.g., JavaScript, Python, PostgreSQL, MySQL, REST APIs)
  4. Experience in DevOps including CI/CD automation, monitoring / reporting, cost optimization, tagging and security
  5. Knowledge of AWS resources (e.g. RDS, Lambda, EC2, S3, ECS, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, API Gateway, SQS, SNS, etc)
  6. Experience working with SQL databases (e.g. PostgreSQL, MySQL)
  7. Experience with mobile apps with microservices architecture
  8. Excellent leadership and communication skills
  9. Ownership mentality with bias for action and collaboration
  10. Strong work ethic, high integrity, and a team-player
