Marketing Ops Associate

New York City

About WithCoverage

WithCoverage is reimagining risk management and insurance for the modern economy. We protect the companies building the future—hundreds of brands like GoPuff, Eight Sleep, Bombas, Chomps, and Blank Street Coffee—so they can move fast without compromise.

Instead of a stale brokerage model, we’ve built a new category: world-class risk advisors powered by proprietary technology. From next-generation defense contractors and advanced manufacturers to iconic consumer brands and hospitality leaders, we partner with ambitious businesses to give them the confidence to scale.

Founded by JD Ross (co-founder of Opendoor) and Max Brenner (Compound, Bain), WithCoverage is disrupting a trillion-dollar industry from the inside out. We grew 10x last year while staying cash-flow positive, with backing from 8VC, Crystal Venture Partners, and other top investors. We also recently raised a $42M Series B led by Sequoia and Khosla Ventures.

We’re also the only brokerage that has built its own Agency Management System from scratch, giving us full control of our operations and a platform to automate more and more of the business with AI. It’s the foundation for transforming how risk is managed across the economy.

Why Join Us

  • Grow faster. We’re scaling quickly, which means outsized opportunities to learn, take ownership, and help shape both your career and the company.

  • Work on meaningful problems. You’ll help protect some of the most innovative companies in the country across consumer, hospitality, technology, construction, and manufacturing.

  • Build real systems. You’ll help design the workflows, SOPs, and operating infrastructure that make the growth engine more effective.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Marketing Ops  Associate to build the scaffolding that will support our marketing motions at scale. The core mandate for this role is to build better systems that both measure and improve the efficiency and magnitude with which WithCoverage builds its top of funnel. The focus of these systems will range from lead qualification, to paid advertising, to owned events and more. The builder in this role will work with the teams building out new channels, measure their experiments, and then lend structure to successful ones as they reach further and further into the future.

We want to arm our team with tools, processes, operational discipline that cumulate into repeatable flywheels of growth that can be leveraged for years to come. Building those tools, processes, and discipline are what this role is all about.

Build scalable growth systems

  • Partner with members of our marketing and growth teams to measure their experiments in hubspot

  • Own projects that improve how we triage, qualify, and route inbound and outbound opportunities across multiple channels.

  • Design and document SOPs, workflows, and tooling that make the team faster and more consistent.

  • Identify operational bottlenecks in areas like qualification, monitoring, connector management, and event follow-up, then help fix them.

Support pipeline creation across key channels

  • Help prioritize high-value prospects for connectors, portfolio companies, conferences, dinners, and other pipeline-generation efforts.

  • Assist with lead qualification systems so the team is spending time on the best opportunities.

  • Contribute to experiments across inbound, website traffic, paid channels, and other top-of-funnel initiatives when needed.

Own event and operating infrastructure

  • Help build better systems for event execution and follow-up, workflow visibility, and repeatable launcher processes.

  • Create clean operating processes that make it easier for growth campaigns and event-driven motions to run end to end.

Work with high autonomy on special projects

  • Take a problem from ambiguity to execution, then iterate based on what you learn.

  • Partner closely with team members across Growth while operating with a high degree of ownership.

  • Help on other growth priorities as needed, while staying anchored to the core goal of improving systems and efficiency.

Who You Are

  • You have 2 to 4 years of experience in Marketing Operations, Growth Operations, Revenue Operations, Business Operations, or another highly hands-on systems role.

  • You have at least 1 to 2 years of deep, hands-on HubSpot experience, ideally across Marketing Hub, Sales Hub, and Operations Hub.

  • A systems thinker, who gets obsessed with the way things work and how to improve them.

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and follow through reliably.

  • Analytical and curious, with good judgment around prioritization and a desire to understand what drives performance.

  • Proactive and resourceful, comfortable figuring things out without waiting for perfect direction.

  • A strong communicator and collaborator who can work effectively across the Growth team.

For candidates based in the United States, the expected pay range for this position at the start of employment is $100,000 – $120,000/year. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as market location, job-related skills, experience, and qualifications. This role may also be eligible for additional variable compensation, including quota-based incentives where applicable. WithCoverage offers a comprehensive Total Rewards package for full-time employees, which includes equity grants and a robust suite of benefits.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive compensation that includes equity

  • Comprehensive benefit plans for medical, dental, vision, life, and disability

  • Pre-tax accounts (FSA, HSAs, dependent care FSAs, commuter savings)

  • Human Interest: 401(k) provider

  • Time Off: Flexible time off, sick leave, family and medical leave, and major national holidays
