Position Summary: WLG seeks professionals who want to join a high-performing team committed to working together to deliver exceptional services to our clients. We are seeking an in-house Litigation Consultant who will (a) independently conduct and manage online focus groups/mock trials, (b) oversee the production of data reports following those exercises, (c) generate key findings and strategic recommendations based on the results of those exercises, and (d) assist attorneys with jury selection.
Key Responsibilities:
- Organizes and conducts in-house focus groups, with an anticipated rate of 8-10 focus groups per month.
- Analyzes focus group feedback and provides actionable insights to the legal team.
- Attends jury selection and provides feedback to the trial team.
- Analyzes trial proceedings and affords strategic advice based on focus group insights and juror behavior.
- Generates, programs, and administers electronic surveys to focus group/mock trial participants to ensure an accurate and smooth data collection process.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree or PhD in Psychology.
- Proficiency with SPSS and advanced data analysis skills.
- Prior experience organizing, managing, and conducting online focus groups/mock trials.
- Experience in the trucking industry a considerable plus.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
- Proficiency in Zoom; experience hosting Zoom meetings.
- Prior experience with opinion survey software is strongly preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- A proactive and innovative approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently.
- High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
Physical Requirements:
- Office environment with normal business hours necessary to satisfactorily perform job functions.
- Stationary Position – Must be able to remain in a stationary position up to 50% of the time.
- Move or Traverse – This position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, meeting rooms, office machinery, etc. May occasionally ascends/descends the stairs to get to other floors, cafeteria and parking area.
- Dexterity – constantly operates a computer and other office machinery such as a copy machine/printer.
- Move, Transport, Position, Put, Install, Remove - Occasionally moves supplies weighing up to 10 pounds for various presentation and event needs.
- Communicate, Detect, Converse with, Discern, Convey, Express oneself, Exchange information - The ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
- Detect, Determine, Perceive, Identify, Recognize, Judge, Observe, Inspect, Estimate, Assess - The ability to observe details at close range (within a few feet of the observer).
