About the Role

Our Healthcare Advisory Services Consulting practice is seeking a Revenue Cycle Practice Lead at the Principal level to join our integrated team of professionals. We provide operations-focused consulting services to healthcare providers and organizations nationwide, helping them optimize revenue cycle performance and achieve strategic objectives.

As the Revenue Cycle Practice Lead, you will leverage your consulting expertise in healthcare-based revenue cycle operations to lead engagements, mentor team members, and deliver exceptional client service.  Our team partners with community hospitals, physician groups, and post-acute providers across the U.S. to strengthen their performance and financial sustainability. You will play a key role in shaping strategy, driving operational improvements, and building lasting client relationships that reflect our commitment to excellence and the Withum Way.

What we are looking for:

An energetic, results focused, people centric leader who:

  • Provides strategic direction for the revenue cycle advisory practice, emphasizing growth as a goal, quality, innovation, and client satisfaction.
  • Lead and oversee performance improvement engagements across the full revenue cycle spectrum for organizations ranging from community hospitals to sub/post-acute providers (physician practices, home health, long-term care, hospice/palliative care, and behavioral health).
  • Manages multiple consulting projects, driving improvements in operations, financial performance, and compliance.
  • Advises clients regularly on revenue performance management and regulatory requirements.
  • Builds strong client relationships, identifies growth opportunities, and leads proposal development and presentations.
  • Represents the firm at conferences, industry events, and in client meetings; enhance visibility through articles, webinars, and industry participation.
  • Mentors and develops consulting staff, fostering a collaborative, learning-oriented culture.
  • Communicates effectively when engaging senior leadership, including CFOs and RCM executives, earning trust and credibility in high-level boardroom discussions.
  • Upholds values of integrity, transparency, and long-term client relationships.
  • Exceptional client service and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and project management abilities.
  • Innovative problem-solving and attention to detail.
  • Strategic thinker with an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Effective collaborator and leader of experienced professionals.
  • Ability to travel (20%-30%) as needed.

Education and Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree in Business, Health Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Preferred Certifications: HFMA (Healthcare Financial Management Association), CHFP (Certified Healthcare Financial Professional) and/or CRCR (Certified Revenue Cycle Representative).

Experience:

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in healthcare revenue cycle management, with at least 5+ years in a consulting leadership role (practice lead, director, or senior manager).
  • Proven experience advising community hospitals, physician enterprises, and post-acute providers on revenue cycle improvement initiatives — ideally across both front-end and back-end functions.
  • Prior success growing client relationships and practice revenue, including proposal development, account management, and cross-service collaboration.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor consultants; comfortable with project oversight and capability building.

If you believe you belong to any of the categories of protected veterans listed below, please indicate by making the appropriate selection. As a government contractor subject to the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA), we request this information in order to measure the effectiveness of the outreach and positive recruitment efforts we undertake pursuant to VEVRAA. Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
