This is a key role in our new change management team, based out of our New York City office. Focused on the firm’s continued growth and adaptability. This internally facing role will manage existing projects to improve client service capabilities as well as design new systems that streamline and scale core internal operations across departments. As such, the role is well suited for someone who enjoys critical thinking and can strike a balance between big-picture goals and detailed execution. In addition to project management skills, ideal candidates bring leadership experience, a spirit of curiosity and collaboration, and commitment to quality.

How You'll Spend Your Time

  • Develop and execute plans for projects across the firm, including aligning outcomes to strategic goals, tracking progress, and problem solving to deliver results on time
  • Manage project stakeholders, including early mitigation of cross-team gaps or risks
  • Create project artifacts and communications, including visuals, updates, reports, and presentations
  • Oversee meeting processes, including scheduling, creating agendas, and follow-up
  • Lead project process improvements, including leveraging technology to streamline activities and maintain sources of firm-wide business intelligence like dashboards

Responsibilities: 

  • Manage Audit software migrations, including coordinating across teams, ensuring execution of training plans, and facilitating development of standard templates
  • Lead Audit project-related communications and monthly reporting to leadership
  • Support central service operations, such as creating project processes and tracking that enables leaders to plan and execute projects in an efficient and proactive way
  • Engage stakeholders, such as pre-launch impact analysis or after-action interviews, that surface new insights for improved roll-out and maintenance of core operations
  • Manage the online transformation resource hub, including creating templates and tools to improve project and change management and encourage firm collaboration

The Kinds of People We Want to Talk to Have Many of The Following: 

  • 3-5 years of experience leading projects end-to-end in a professional services environment, including integration of change management for successful delivery
  • 2+ years of managing teams and constructively overseeing project team members
  • Strong time management skills, including planning, prioritizing work, and adapting to reliably meet commitments on time with minimal supervision
  • Proven ability to collaborate across a large, matrixed organization to deliver results, including professional interactions and productive partnerships with senior leaders
  • Positive attitude toward change, comfortable with designing new ways to do things
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, including listening to understand
  • Proactive approach to risk management, including anticipating obstacles, identifying issues early, and providing practical options for escalation and mitigation
  • Proficient with Microsoft software, able to quickly upskill on applications such as SharePoint; experience with other project platforms a plus (e.g., Asana, Smartsheet)
  • Reputable project and change skill certifications preferred (e.g., PMP, Prosci)
  • Experience in accounting or related financial services profession a plus

The compensation for this position will vary by location., Withum offers a competitive benefits package and bonus program (for eligible roles) based on individual and firm performance. Final offer amounts are based on multiple factors such as the specific role, hiring location, as well as the individual’s skills, experience and qualifications. New York City ranges are from $90,000-$120,000 annually
