We are seeking a strategic, innovative, growth, and results-driven Director of Industry & Service Line Growth Marketing to lead a high-performing marketing team across key industries and services lines for a national accounting and advisory firm. This role oversees a team that is responsible for the development and execution of industry-specific and service line-focused marketing strategies designed to drive growth, strengthen positioning, enhance value propositions, and support pipeline development. The Director will serve as a strategic partner to the CGO and CMO and collaborate closely with other marketing departments to align campaigns, thought leadership, and account-based marketing initiatives with organizational objectives.

How you’ll spend your time:

  • Overseeing the development and execution of comprehensive multi-channel marketing strategies for Industries, and Tax, Audit, and Advisory service lines.
  • Defining and articulating compelling industry value propositions that resonate with target audiences and differentiate the firm in the marketplace, founding in the brand messaging of the firm.
  • Leading cross-functional planning to ensure alignment between marketing initiatives and business growth objectives.
  • Owning the strategy and accountability around the execution of account-based marketing initiatives, ensuring alignment with industry growth and business objectives.
  • Collaborating closely with practice leaders to identify key accounts and oversee the developments of multi-channel marketing plans strategized and executed by industry marketing team.
  • Implementing ABM programs leveraging digital campaigns, content, and thought leadership to deepen engagement and advance the pipeline.
  • Utilizing AI-driven insights, market intelligence, and analytics to prioritize accounts, optimize engagement, and measure program impact.
  • Establishing and monitoring KPIs, providing actionable reporting to the CMO and CGO.
  • Being a thought partner and drive the strategy and accountability around thought leadership initiatives, including content creation, speaking opportunities, and research reports that position the firm as a trusted advisor.
  • Working collaboratively with the Thought Leadership Marketing leader
  • Conducting ongoing market intelligence to identify trends, competitive insights, and growth opportunities.
  • Leading a team that oversees the planning, execution, and measurement of multi-channel marketing campaigns across industries and services.
  • Ensuring marketing campaigns effectively communicate key messages, demonstrate measurable impact, and support business development goals.
  • Ensureing collaboration with other marketing departments (digital, communications, creative, events) for cohesive messaging and brand alignment.
  • Being passionate about AI and proactively developing examples of how to leverage to streamline efficiencies.
  • Championing the integration of advanced marketing technologies and automation to improve campaign performance and ROI.

The kinds of people we want to talk to have many of the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in marketing leading teams and managing cross-functional initiatives, with a focus on professional services or B2B growth marketing.
  • Expertise in marketing strategy, campaign management, ABM, thought leadership, and market intelligence.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using AI-driven tools and marketing analytics platforms.
  • Exceptional communication, collaboration, and leadership skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive growth through innovative marketing strategies in complex industries.

The compensation range for this position is $140,000-$165,000, salary will vary based on candidate's location. In addition to the base compensation, Withum offers a competitive benefits package and bonus program (for eligible roles) based on individual and firm performance. Final offer amounts are based on multiple factors such as the specific role, hiring location, as well as the individual’s skills, experience, and qualifications.
