Position Overview:
W is looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Social Media Manager to oversee the planning, publishing, and performance tracking of our social content across platforms. You’ll work closely with our content, design, and community teams to execute campaigns, drive growth, and keep the brand’s social presence sharp, fun, and fearless.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Management (Asana & Workflow Coordination):
- Own and maintain the social media content calendar within Asana and Canva, ensuring all tasks, deadlines, and stakeholders are clearly outlined and updated in real time.
- Coordinate cross-functional workflows with creators, internal teams, external partners and agency partners to keep content production moving on schedule.
- Ensure all assets are delivered, reviewed, and approved before publishing—no dropped balls, no missed posts.
- Identify and resolve roadblocks early, keeping communication clear and timelines tight.
2. Publishing & Programming:
- Schedule and publish all content across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, Snapchat, and LinkedIn ensuring platform-native formatting and on-brand copywriting.
- Write sharp, on-brand captions that reflect W’s irreverent, inspiring tone and spark engagement.
- Utilize platforms best practices to optimize engagement.
- Monitor daily performance and make real-time adjustments to optimize for reach and resonance.
- Work closely with community management and paid teams to ensure content is properly boosted and supported when needed.
3. Reporting & Analytics:
- Track and analyze content performance metrics including views, engagement, saves, shares, follower growth, click-throughs, and conversions.
- Generate weekly and monthly reports that surface actionable insights and content recommendations.
- Maintain benchmarks and historical performance data to evaluate trends and campaign effectiveness.
- Collaborate with the marketing leads to translate insights into content improvements and future strategies.
4. Trend Spotting
- Build out a system and process leveraging social listening tools and other digital listening platforms to help identify upcoming trends before they happen, upcoming creators who are on-brand and could make sense for W’s feed, new post styles and formats that are starting to going traction, and be on the pulse of social media in general
- Leverage all tools at your disposal including AI to empower W to be a first mover and best in class on social
Collaboration:
- Act as a bridge between content creators, marketing leadership, social partnerships and other key stakeholders for social content.
- Support the execution of influencer and user-generated content programs via reposting and reporting.
Qualifications:
- 2–4 years experience in social media management, preferably in CPG, influencer, or youth-focused brands.
- Deep fluency in TikTok, Instagram, and other social platforms—including emerging trends, formats, and best practices.
- Strong writing skills and an eye for visual storytelling.
- Experience with scheduling and analytics tools (e.g., Later, Sprout, Dash Hudson, Meta Business Suite).
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, startup-style environment with a sense of humor and hustle.
- Bonus: experience working with talent, creators, or personal brands.
