The Marketing Lead / Head of Marketing is a strategic role focused on commercial, brand, content and social media marketing for the country. Reporting to the Regional Director of Growth & Marketing, this individual will lead partnership relationships with merchants to develop co-marketing campaigns, execute social media campaigns together with local influencers, and create the content and assets needed for running local and hyper-local campaigns and initiatives, while ensuring that the country marketing adheres to global brand guidelines and is aligned with business objectives. This role involves understanding the growth levers for the country and investing where it makes the most sense, leveraging both local and global resources and channels, and optimizing for growth and efficiency.
Our humble expectations
- Work closely with the Regional Campaign Planning team, as well as global marketing teams to ensure that the country marketing calendar aligns with global strategic initiatives
- Form the marketing strategy for the country, taking into account OKRs and available budgets, and balancing local and global campaigns
- Coordinate with local leadership and GMs, global marketing teams and commercial teams to align marketing strategies with overall business objectives
- Identify and secure new partnerships, while nurturing existing relationships; participate in meetings with big accounts with the commercial team
- Design and execute joint marketing campaigns with our partners to increase visibility and drive mutual growth
- Execute social media campaigns by partnering with local influencers as well as with the Regional Brand team to ensure brand guidelines are enforced
- Support Campaign Planning teams in city and area expansions
- Oversee the creation of marketing materials and promotional content tailored for local campaigns
- Lead a team of Marketing Managers/Specialists and support their development
