What you’ll be doing

At Wolt, you’ll be at the forefront of shaping the future of quick commerce Retail marketplaces – driving high-impact projects and building processes that power an exceptional customer experience. 

Day-to-day in this role you’ll:

  • Lead strategic projects focused on operational excellence, customer experience, and conversion funnel optimization across Retail cities in Germany.
  • Develop and implement scalable playbooks that drive partner store operations, order volume, and retention.
  • Use data to identify performance gaps – create dashboards and tools (including custom AI-powered ones) to automate decision-making.
  • Design and maintain a calculation model that individually links operations KPIs to partner volume growth and profitability.
  • Create partner guidelines to help them reach assortment and operations targets, and ensure these are implemented effectively.
  • Work with store managers and third-party agencies to ensure quality and cost efficient execution to reach operations targets.
  • Conduct daily performance check-ins on key operational metrics to monitor progress and identify improvement areas.
  • Build strategic frameworks for launching new initiatives and own their implementation end-to-end.
  • Lead project management efforts on high-priority topics, ensuring timely delivery and measurable impact where needed.

Our humble expectations

  • Bachelor’s degree from Tier 1 university. Fluency in German and English. Fields of study: business, STEM, or related.
  • 0-3 years of professional experience in consulting or fast-paced growth environments (e.g. Tech, Startups) – ability to thrive in ambiguity and drive results.
  • Experience in e-commerce, marketplaces or last-mile delivery – understanding how to optimize customer experience and conversion funnels based on data.
  • Strategic & analytical thinking – strong problem-solving skills with the ability to structure complex topics, analyze data, and turn insights into actionable strategies.
  • Project management & execution – ability to own and drive complex, cross-functional initiatives from ideation to implementation, ensuring speed and impact.
  • High autonomy – expected to own and drive projects from ideation to execution.
  • Independent problem-solving – proactively identify challenges, make informed decisions, and push initiatives forward.
  • Communication & stakeholder management – Confident in negotiating, influencing, and aligning with internal teams and external partners to drive results.
  • Strong plus: understanding of stationary grocery and/or non-food retail operations or category management.
