Role Background

Our Finance team has played a key role in our growth journey - supporting our global operations from their central Helsinki hub has been no easy feat, but this group of dedicated and motivated professionals have made it seem effortless! 

As we continue to scale, we’re looking for an experienced Senior Tax Advisor, Direct Tax, to join our team on a fixed-term one-year contract as a paternity leave substitute. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a broad international role where you’ll work on global corporate tax matters across tax reporting, documentation, compliance, and business support - all while contributing to a fast-evolving organization at scale.

What you’ll be doing

  • Manage and support international direct tax (CIT/WHT etc) reporting and compliance process in global environment together with global team
  • Support to develop and implement tax related processes across the organization  
  • Instructing business and other finance team in direct tax related questions
  • Monitor global corporate tax development and support in the development of responses and strategies
  • Provide advice and arrange training in various international tax related matters

Our humble expectations

  • Hands on experience in corporate income tax related processes in relevant international environments
  • Experience on IFRS or US GAAP tax reporting is seen as advantage 
  • Master’s degree in Finance/Accounting/Law or similar
  • Strong finance or accounting skills
  • The Wolt usuals: Ability and passion to work autonomously in a fast-moving international environment, strong relationship building and customer service mindset, and a true growth mindset to consistently learn and develop skills.
