Wolt is looking for top talent to join its Rotational Product Manager program. This is a full-time, 30-month program allowing its participants to work on 3 different product teams during its duration. The program is designed to give people the skills and experience to become a successful product manager at Wolt. Providing you've excelled as a Rotational Product Manager, you'll be moved to a Product Lead role at Wolt. The program starts in July and is based in Helsinki.

About the program

The goal of our Rotational Product Manager program is to develop the next generation of Product Leaders by mentoring, empowering, and supporting talented individuals. RPMs don’t need previous product management experience and can come from a variety of backgrounds.

At Wolt, RPMs are placed in key roles within the product management organization and work on products like our core Wolt app, Wolt Market and logistics optimization. This is a high impact role that starts you on a career in one of the most exciting functions in a modern tech company.

During the program, we will provide you with extensive support and plenty of training to ensure you have everything you need to grow into a fully-fledged Product Manager. While you will be assigned a senior mentor from the team to work closely with and learn from, RPMs from previous rotations will also be available for help and knowledge-sharing. Joining our program means entering a small and active community that takes ownership beyond the obvious, does common things uncommonly well, thinks big but stays humble, and treats others kindly.

What you’ll be doing

RPMs drive product development end to end, from inception to successfully marketing new products and features. They conduct user research and market analysis, and obsess over Wolt’s customer experience. After the program, RPMs will move on to own a larger Product area, or get the opportunity to explore other business functions within Wolt (e.g. Operations, Business Development, Strategy or Finance).

In practice, you will:

• Own the roadmap for your product
• Analyze data to drive decision-making and prioritization
• Work across the company to ensure the success of the team
• Collaborate with designers to understand customer problems
• Communicate your findings and vision to engineers

You will get extensive support and mentoring from the Wolt community to help you learn and grow into your role. During the program, you will work closely with our product management professionals .

Our expectations:

In an ideal world, you'd have 2-4 years of professional experience, and bring a mixture of product understanding and business savviness with the willingness to take full ownership of your scope. Prior Product Management exposure isn’t required, but it helps to understand our developers and have a keen interest in what it takes to develop a great product.

• You have 2-4 years of professional experience in a full-time role
• You can lead teams with context and content and are used to helping others achieve their goals
• You can structure a problem, design analyses, test hypotheses and run analytics.
• Experience with SQL, Python, R or other serious data tools will help
• You have previous experience from a fast-paced environment, preferably from startups, scaleups or top-tier management consulting

This role is an early-career opportunity for candidates without prior product management experience. Candidates with more extensive product experience may find a better fit in our other open roles here.

Due to the high volume of applications, candidates may be contacted on a rolling basis and considered for subsequent interview batches. The process then continues with a take-home assignment, followed by a second interview with one of our Heads or Directors of Product to present your work, and a final interview with our Chief Product Officer. All interviews will be online.
