What you’ll be doing

As a Partner Sales Manager focused on partner acquisition, you will be responsible for identifying, prospecting, and closing new enterprise retail partnerships. You will operate as a hunter-driven sales professional, owning the full sales cycle from lead generation and qualification through to deal closing, while operating in a highly cross-functional environment and engaging with senior decision-makers on the client side.

Day-to-day in this role, you’ll:

  • Lead active prospecting campaigns targeting enterprise retail chains, identifying and qualifying new partnership opportunities across the market
  • Build and manage a strong sales pipeline through strategic outreach, cold calling, networking, and partnership prospecting
  • Own end-to-end sales execution for new enterprise accounts, from initial outreach through proposal development and deal closure
  • Lead complex negotiations with C-level and senior stakeholders across large retail organizations to structure mutually beneficial partnerships
  • Develop compelling pitches and proposals that demonstrate clear value propositions and commercial benefits for retail partners
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify untapped partnership opportunities and market gaps
  • Leverage AI tools for lead identification, account research, deal prioritization, and sales forecasting
  • Drive data-informed decision-making using pipeline analytics, forecasting tools, and performance metrics to optimize your sales efforts
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Product, Marketing, Finance, and Legal to structure deal terms and enable successful partnership launches
  • Execute outbound campaigns using multiple channels (phone, email, in-person meetings) to build relationships with key decision-maker

Our humble expectations

  • 3 to 5+ years of experience in enterprise B2B sales, with a proven track record of hunting, prospecting, and closing new business
  • Direct experience in Retail, E-commerce, Marketplace, or Omnichannel environments with demonstrated success in partner or vendor acquisition
  • Strong track record of new business generation, including ownership of pipeline building, consistent prospecting, and hitting/exceeding revenue targets
  • Proven ability to manage long and complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders and extended decision-making processes
  • Excellent negotiation skills with demonstrated success engaging and closing C-level executives
  • Self-motivated hunter mentality with strong drive to prospect, qualify, and close new business independently
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen (pricing, unit economics, deal structuring) to structure enterprise partnerships
  • Ability to operate in ambiguous, fast-paced environments and drive deals forward independently with minimal hand-holding
  • Data-driven mindset with experience in pipeline management, forecasting, and sales analytics

Nice to have:

  • Experience in entrepreneurship, grocery retail or fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG)
  • Familiarity with marketplace or platform-based business models, logistics and delivery operations
